Bismillahir-Rahmanir-Rahim.  In the name of God, the Most Merciful, the Most Compassionate.

This interview of Mr. M. Stanton Evans was conducted by Brian Lamb, the moderator of the C-Span television program called "Booknotes".  This program was originally recorded on February, 5th,1995, and was replayed during December of 2001, when this child heard it.

In the interview, Mr M. Stanton Evans, director of the National Journalism Center in Washington, DC, discusses his new book with Brian Lamb, that was published in 1994, "The Theme is Freedom: Religion, Politics and the American Tradition".

The major theme of his book was presenting the evidence collected by Mr. Evans, over the last 30 years, to support his belief that the basis for the freedom that we enjoy in America, and in most of the world today, is our faith and trust in God, not some intellectual conclusion that the world has finally come to, after eons of forcing people to live in slavery or under some form of autocratic rule, whether it be a king, an emperor, or a land lord.

The information presented by Mr. Evans in the interview provided a summary of some of his findings presented in his book as well as the conclusion that we inherited our freedom in America directly from Medieval England, especially the period of human enlightenment that apparently occurred in England from 1000 AD to 1400 AD.

The letter that was written to Mr. Evans by this child expands on this conclusion to further show that what was being experienced in England at that time as an awakening to human freedom, was in fact the result of the coming into the world of the
Qutb
of God for that age, Qutb Muhaiyaddeen Abdul Qadir al-Jilani (may God be pleased with Him) around 1000 AD, causing a significant sift in human consciousness.

And to further show that this process is repeated by God for each age, and for our age, that presence is our Father, Shaikh Muhammad Rahim Bawa Muhaiyaddeen
(may God be pleased with Him).
